Please join EVAN GARRETT for an evening of dance, performance, and conversation concerning the art and practice of writing a poem a day for 252 straight days. He has posted each of his poems on the Instagram account "A_Catalogue_Of_Salt" and would like to celebrate the completion of the project with 2 nights of loud, head-wringing celebration of what it means to do poetry.
The evening will consist of 7 Pieces (formal performances with choreography and text) and 6 Entr'Actes (informal breaks for drinks and reflection). These 7 Pieces are named thus:

OBSESSION: Biblical Stories For Those We Have Lost

INTIMICAY AND SECRETS: A Poem in a Fort

CELEBRITY: I Can't Tie My Shoes, But Maybe He Can Help
Please come. Please invite an adventurous friend. Please know that acquisition of a ticket necessitates signing a non-disclosure contract and bringing a portable listening device we can send music to. You will not be in danger during the night--for the most part, neither will the performers.
TIME: Friday, October 12th & Saturday, October 13th @ 7:30PM.
PLACE: Cloud City, 85 1st St, Brooklyn NY 11249
PRICE: Tickets are scaled from a $10 - $20 donation. Please give what you would like; if you think the evening to be worth more afterwards, we will have someone to collect a 2nd donation.
DRINKS: Refreshments will be available for purchase from Cloud City Staff.
